Hello Summer and summer knitting! We are here for it.
Our KAL for June will include not 1, not 2, but THREE different tank tops in varying skill levels from an easy garter stitch tank to a more advanced top with beautiful lace details. Each of them is a perfect opportunity to use something from our large stock of summery fibers like cotton, silk, hemp, linen and various blends. OPTION 1 - The SOHO TOP by Caidree - a classic sleeveless summer top with a boatneck style neckline. It is constructed from the top down giving it an advantage for adjusting the length of the body. Simple garter stitch is used throughout the pattern. It is worked flat and in the round. Neckline, waist and armhole openings are framed with an i-cord edging and body features decorative “seams” on both sides.
OPTION 2 - The STAPLE LINEN TOP by Joji Locatelli - the perfect basic top for those warm days when your body is calling for something airy and breezy that lets your skin breathe. It is a very basic shape, timeless, that can be dressed up or down. The wider shoulders are great for keeping those pesky bra straps hidden, too!
OPTION 3 - The ADRIATA top by Joji Locatelli - This romantic summer top is worked from the top down, seamlessly, adorned with beautiful lace trimmings. Advanced knitters will appreciate the clever shaping with use of the lace edging. This one requires a little attention to details!

Introducing My Little Sunshine Happy Stripes from Jody Long. You’ll love this self striping cotton/acrylic blend in sport weight for so many different cheery projects. We think it plays nicely with a couple other yarns from Jody Long… My Little Sunshine and Flora, pictured below :)
The Caledonia Concert Series is BACK!
We LOVE live music and what’s better than a FREE outdoor concert series? The Caledonia Concert Series is kicking off the 2024 season and Henny’s Yarn Shop is sponsoring the first show! Bring your chairs and knitting and join us on Tuesday June 11 at the band shell near the library. Food trucks and the opening act start at 6:00 with the headliner taking the stage at 7:00.
