Here at Henny’s Yarn Shop we LOVE KALs! What’s a KAL? Glad you asked! A KAL (Knit-along) is a chance to work on a project with other makers in the HYS community. It isn’t like a class where you have to show up at a certain time to knit. You can work on it remotely or in person during any of our social knitting times… it’s up to you! And if you’re wondering when our social knitting times are, it’s basically anytime the shop is open. Bring your current project and grab a seat. We enjoy your company!
You’ll save 15% on your yarn and pattern when you join in. Sometimes we choose a specific pattern, like the Ramona Cardigan (pictured above) or the Ninilchik Swoncho (below). Other times we feature a specific yarn or designer for the month.
This month we have decided to make VESTS! Join us in our November Vest-along by choosing one of the following FREE patterns, or choose another favorite vest pattern.

Countdown to Christmas Knits 2021
Each year as the weather turns colder and the holidays approach we like to share a weekly dose of gift-knitting inspiration in the form of a simple quick knit project. You can find them on our social media pages and in your email inbox on Monday mornings. If you see something you know would make the perfect gift for one of your loved ones, stop by the shop to pick out some yarn and you’ll get the pattern FREE with your yarn purchase.
