Knit and Crochet Inspiration for Another Week at Home
Hello Friends! We have another colorful collection of patterns and yarn inspiration for you this week. Enjoy! You can send in your requests through our CONTACT PAGE and Henny will call you on Friday between 10-2 to process your order. Or you can call the shop during those hours to speak with her about gathering up what you need. Thanks so much for your ongoing business during the stay at home order. Every order helps to ensure we can maintain our business and be here for you when things go back to normal! We really appreciate it!
So Faded by Andrea Mowry
Linda and our friend Judy are both working on this fun fade pullover by Andrea Mowry. So Faded uses a gradient of fingering yarn that you could even pull from your stash. The designer describes it as “my ideal raglan pullover: worked from the top down, completely seamless, and just a little bit of texture to make it fit into a more modern wardrobe! Adjust the length of the sleeves and the body easily to fit your personal style!” And it even comes in a tiny version: So Faded Pint Sized :)
Looking for something to use that pretty skein of sock yarn you’ve been saving? POSH SOCKS might be perfect! Shifting cables and a bit of heel flap detail make this an entertaining knit. This pattern includes both written and charted instructions.
Rosa
ROSA by Rose Beck is one of the many beautiful patterns included in Issue Six of NOMADIC KNITS. Linda is working on one and has been delighted by all the pretty details. You can click on the link to the book to see what other projects are included. We have several issues at the shop, so if you’d like one please request a copy through our website contact form or give Henny a call at the shop on Friday. She’d be happy to help you pick the perfect yarn for your project. 616-891-2406
Last but not least, here is one for the crocheters! And it’s a FREE pattern :) The GARDEN PATHS crochet bag will be your favorite summer accessory. Keep scrolling for yarn ideas… we have everything from soft neutrals to bright cheery colors that will add a pop to your wardrobe.
