Wool With a Purpose
A small New England fiber company with a mission.
We work to support pastoral communities that have been historically in conflict with the US. Currently we are working with the Navajo to offer fair market prices for the Rambouillet sheep wool raised by families in the Navajo Nation. Our yarn is made of this wool blended with a domestic fine wool and mohair for strength.

We are carrying the Peace Fleece Worsted and DK in an array of delightful colors. Both yarns will dramatically soften and fluff up with washing and use. You can actually throw finished sweaters into a cold gentle wash cycle with very good results.
June KAL - Embers Shawl
We’ve chosen the Embers Shawl as the perfect KAL to kick off summer knitting. If you’re like us, you enjoy a nice relaxing project to take on your travels throughout the summer, something simple to work on in the back yard, on the front porch, or at the beach.
This pattern is written for several separate skeins of contrasting colors, but our shop sample was made with a yarn that does the color changing all by itself! Just two skeins of Ultra Alpaca and one skein of Painted Sky will create this pretty little wrap! We have several colorways of Painted Sky to choose from and can’t wait to see all the different color combos you come up with! Stop by the shop to get your yarn and pattern in time to cast with us :)
