Countdown to Christmas Knits - Week 7
Each Monday from now thru mid-December we will be sharing a great gift-knit project, pairing a FREE pattern with a suggested yarn. Stop by the shop to check out the samples and get yarn to make something for everyone on your holiday gift giving list!
Week 7
Week 7 - How about some convertible mitts? These sturdy unisex fingerless mitts can be worn with garter band up for warm fingers or garter band rolled down for when you need to get to work. We recommend Croft shetland wool by West Yorkshire Spinners.
Week 6
Week 6 - Not everyone knits, so here’s a gift idea for our crocheters! This cowl is lovely made with Taria Tweed, a bulky weight merino, llama, and silk blend from Plymouth Yarns.
Week 5
Week 5 - We love this simple beanie with delicate detail and a double thick brim to keep your loved one’s ears extra protected. It’s beautiful in Misty Wool, a rustic wool and hemp blend from Elsebeth Lavold. You can adda pompom for some extra flair ;)
Week 4
Week 4 - Slipper socks for everyone! This pattern comes in sizes from baby to men’s! We love them in Rustic Aran from Ella Rae.
Week 3
Week 3 - We love this bandana cowl because it’s a great choice for everyone, even the guys on your list!
We suggest making it in the super soft and cozy Herriot Great, 100% Baby Alpaca from Juniper Moon Farm.
Week 2
Week 2 - Surprise somebody on your holiday gift list with a pair lovely hand mitts.
Our yarn recommendation is Kathmandu Aran 100 - a luxurious merino, silk and cashmere blend!
Week 1
Week 1 - This trendy hat makes a great gift for everyone!
Knit in Malabrigo Mecha, it looks great with one of our pompoms!
